How our Service works

Pearce Bros Occupational Therapy is a private service provided by highly qualified healthcare professionals and operated on a fee basis, so there are no waiting lists or need for a GP referral. 

Simply contact us and we will provide you with the advice and support you need for a better, more independent life at home, without delay.

We can operate both by telephone or online consultations and can conduct assessments to your home followed by a report of the equipment and solutions required.

Opening Hours

We are open 6 days a week Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 17:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 14:00 pm

2 hour at home access and bathing assessment plus report £200
Comprehensive home Occupational Therapy assessment and report £400
Specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention with a report and follow-up home visits £600
Showroom appointment including assessment and equipment trials £70
Comprehensive moving and handling assessment £400
Specialist moving and handling assessment £600 – £800

Our Moving and Handling Service

When changes occur in your ability to get around and carry out everyday tasks we are here to help. We provide moving and handling support to clients and carers and advise on equipment to make life easier for you.

Such is our expertise that we provide moving and handling training to local authorities, carers, care agencies and more. We can now provide our support to you through our private OT service.

Meet our Team

Danielle Base

A Qualified Occupational Therapist (BSC Hons.), with many years of experience, Danielle is a registered OT with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Danielle has worked in both health and social care, supporting people in hospital and community settings.

As well as OT work for Pearce Bros customers, Danielle provides moving and handling training toLocal Authority Community Care and Therapy Services, as well as for families, Personal Assistants, Care Agencies, Care Homes and Hospices.

Lynne Guest

A member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, qualified as an OT in 1989.

Lynne initially worked as an OT in Birmingham hospitals, and after moving to a hospital in Bristol, Lynne became a Senior Therapist in the community and helped to set up an equipment store and develop the Occupational Therapy service.

Before joining the Pearce OT Service team in 2020 Lynne worked in the field of mental health and latterly in a hospital setting.
